Aleatico
It is a ruby-red “passito” wine ( made from sun-dried grapes ), with an intense fruity and flowery smell of roses and berries and an unmistakable taste of sour cherries, blackberries.
It is only produced with Aleatico grapes, at first hand-harvested and then dried up.
While the procedure of wine-making has taken place in stainless steel-tanks at controlled temperature, on the other hand the ripening has taken place in “cement” for five- six months.
The refinement in bottle has lasted from three to six months.
You can enjoy it with tea and soft cakes, especially with chocolate desserts.
